15th of March 2011 - Stand up for no more logging in Tasmania's High Conservation Value Forests

The 15th of March, 2011 is D-Day for Tasmania’s High Conservation Value Forests.

Concerned citizens around Tasmania, Australia and the world have been fighting to protect these forests for decades.

On the 15th of December 2010, Australia's Federal Environment Minister Tony Burke announced that all Tasmania's High Conservation Forests would be placed in a moratorium within three months.

But as this date fast approaches, new logging roads and coupes are still being smashed through pristine forests across Tasmania, with more planned well into the year. This March, join us to tell the world that time's up for the logging Tasmania's ancient forests.
